Leggings…How to wear them!
No matter where you go you can’t escape the sight of someone wearing a pair of leggings. This is one trend that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere soon. We all seem to have a love hate relationship with them, partly because some females wear them in place of pants. Don’t get me wrong, I love leggings and I wear them, there simple, plain and downright comfortable. But there is a proper way to wear them.
Leggings do not take the place of pants there more of an accessory that help accent your look.
Knowing the difference between leggings and footless tights can make a BIG difference in your look. Leggings are thicker and usually made from a blend of Lycra, Spandex, nylon, cotton, or polyester. Footless tights are thinner and are made from nylon and the leg is more visible. Knowing when, where and how to wear them is key.
Leggings are great to pair with tunics, dresses, large tops, shirts,(that cover your bottom and other lumps that may show) button ups and skirts. They come in a wide range of colors, designs and textures.
Body proportions are another factor when wearing leggings. I think plus size ladies can pull of the legging look, it’s just about knowing how to incorporate them into your look.
Avoid bright colors, white and all those outrageous prints and designs…
Another alternative to Leggings are Jeggings!
Leggings work with a variety of shoes such as ballet flats, heels, wedges, fancy thong sandals, shoes with a chunky heel, boots or whatever your style preference may be.

Spotted. Fashion Victim wearing a pair of see through leggings. I mean did your friends not tell you your behind was exposed.
Some things we don't need to see...
Pairing shorter tops with leggings exposes "camel toes" and other humps. Again I say leggings are not PANTS!

When leggings are styled correctly they look great!
I love leggings but I wouldn't complain if they just happened to disappear from store shelves.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing more exciting than seeing women wear sheer leggings. If a bit of crotch shows, then its even better ! There are people with hang ups about the female body, Every curve is an art and its great to see them in nice toght, sheer leggings.
ReplyDeleteLeggings do indeed take place of pants. Wearing pants/knickers with leggings make it aweful !! No, sheer tights are great.
ReplyDeleteI think they are sexy on women with short tops on so you can see the ass. It benefits the guy and girl at the same time. Guys get a nice view and girls get attention so it makes them feel sexy
ReplyDeleteI beg to differ. For me, the second picture down (labelled "Some things we don't need to see...") is one of the sexiest images I have seen in a very long time. Exceedingly pleasing. I can't get those two beautiful women out of my mind.
